2019年4月17日下午,英國拉夫堡大學Wen-Hua Chen教授應邀在将軍路校區ag真人百家家乐平台4号507會議室做題為“Autonomous Environment Monitoring using Robots/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”的學術報告。報告由ag真人百家家乐平台副院長陳謀教授主持,ag真人百家家乐平台部分師生參加了學術報告會。
Chen教授首先對無人機與無人車應用場景做了簡要介紹,指出了應用階段存在的一些問題,并引入了Chen教授團隊的當前研究方向。随後,他以無人機為例,描述了無人機結構中的研究重點。接着,Chen教授結合無人機運動方向調節的問題,深入淺出的介紹了他們團隊在該領域的最新研究成果,并展示了實際應用的效果。最後,Chen教授對無人機與無人車的應用前景與未來研究方向提出了展望。
報告結束後,Chen教授與參會師生針對報告内容進行了熱烈的讨論,對師生們提出的問題給予了詳細的解答,并與部分師生代表拍照留念。
報告人簡介:
Dr Wen-Hua Chen holds Professor in Autonomous Vehicles in the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering at Loughborough University where he is the founder and the lead of Loughborough University Centre for Autonomous Systems. He is also the Head of Control and Reliability Research Group. Prof. Chen has a considerable experience in control, signal processing and artificial intelligence and their applications in aerospace systems. In the last ten years, he has been spending most of his effort in development and application of unmanned aircraft system technologies, covering most of the aspects from autopilots, situational awareness, decision making to verification, to driverless cars, remote sensing for precision agriculture and environment monitoring. His unmanned vehicles related research is widely supported by the government and industry. Prof. Chen has published over 250 papers with more than international journal papers. He is a Chartered Engineering, a Fellow of IEEE, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology, UK.
